The remainder of doorbell repairs are scheduled to be completed on Wednesday, August 19. Please make arrangements for access to your unit if you are on the list for repairs.
🌳🌲 Tree Trimming Phase 1 🌳🌲
Please mark your calendars. Phase 1 of tree trimming by the arborist will occur on Wednesday 10/28 at Glenwood Place. The arborist will use the entire day to address all 17 trees marked with orange tape. If a marked tree is near your deck or patio, then please be prepared to remove items that could be in harm’s way. Of course, the arborist will use every precaution to maintain safety. Finally, please do not schedule vendors at your home on 10/28 if your home is near a marked tree. This will keep the arborist on track.
💰🪙 New 3 Year Board Term is Open for 2027 - Treasurer Anyone? 💰🪙
Ashleigh’s current term as Treasurer is complete as of the end of 2026. It is to our great advantage to have at least 2 people who live here year round who are able to perform the function of Treasurer. Ashleigh is very open to working with someone to round out the team. This could work several ways:
- Ashleigh completes her term and the new candidate joins the Board in 2027 and takes on the role of Treasurer. Ashleigh is very willing to work with the new Treasurer in fulfilling the tasks involved in the Treasurer role. Or Ashleigh is willing to step back as much as the new Treasurer wishes
- Ashleigh stays on the Board as Treasurer and a willing candidate works with her on a regular basis, becoming familiar with everything involved in being the Treasurer. The new Associate Treasurer increases their role as we go and is willing to join the Board when they feel ready. Part of this arrangement would involve Ashleigh building a detailed manual that describes every task involved in the Treasurer role, and that describes in detail how those tasks are currently being done.
A bottomline requirement for a Treasurer candidate is being comfortable with technology and being willing to learn the Quickbooks software or already know the software. It is fairly central to the work of the Treasurer.
