🚰Our Drains Need Your Help 🚰

Pro Drain Rooter has recommended that homeowners apply the Zep product in kitchen and bathroom sinks several nights in a row each month.  This is an enzyme based product which is environmentally friendly.  It works to eat away at buildup in pipes over time.  Based on the number of  expensive pipe clog issues we have encountered recently, it would be to our great advantage as a community for each homeowner to follow this practice in your own unit.  You can buy Zep (pictured below) at Lowe’s for $12.98.  The container itself will instruct you on amounts to use with each treatment.  The idea is to pour it into your sink drains and leave overnight and then rinse with lots of water in the morning.  The product cannot be used in toilets because sewer pipes are too big for it to be effective.  It can also be used in tub and shower drains.

Of course another important practice to follow is to put nothing but toilet paper in the toilet bowl.  Products such as wipes may say they can be flushed, but not with our 50 year old plumbing.  Please also avoid excessive amounts of toilet paper.

🙏🏼Financial Information and Thank You 🙏🏼

We had a good number at the Semi Annual meeting last week.  During the meeting we reviewed 2 financial documents.   One is general financial information about the first half of the year and then info about values held in creating our budgets.  Financial Progress at Mid Year 2026.  The other is the Mid Year Budget Correction noting which annual expense categories we were able to reduce and which needed to be increased.  The net overall result of changes was to  leave the total expense amount for the year with no change.

Treasurer Ashleigh and the HOA Board would like to thank Kathy Okay for covering Finances when Ashleigh is away.  Kathy has learned Quickbooks Online and many other aspects of the Treasurer job and we’re happy to be able to rely on her during these periods.  We wish she lived here year round😊  Thank you, Kathy.
