Glenwood HOA Community AVR and Proposal Process
Glenwood Place has a new process effective 6/11/2026. It will be used to submit traditional AVR’s as well as proposals to improve the community. If your AVR is determined to require a Proposal, you will be asked to fill out the Glenwood Place Proposal form. There is a new page on our website called Glenwood HOA Proposal Process located here Glenwood HOA Proposal Process – Glenwood Place Condominiums.
2 More Roofs to Start Soon
Roof replacement will begin July 21 on Building 12, followed by Building 13 on July 29. These are the contractor’s best projections. Please understand this schedule could change based on weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
Work on Doorbells
Kitz has been interviewing contractors regarding a number of doorbells that need work or replacement. She will start with homeowners who have submitted AVRs. If you have a doorbell that needs work or replacement and haven’t yet submitted an AVR, please do so to help Kitz scope this project.
Good Community Guidelines for Summer
- Absolutely no fireworks in Glenwood Place on and around July 4 or at any time
- During heat spikes, limit your time outside, drink plenty of water and please check on your neighbors
Vandalism on the Rise
It’s summertime when vandalism ramps up. We have seen an uptick in maliciously intentional damage to our garage doors. Even Summerplace had the secure storage and parking lot area vandalized this past week.
If you have a break-in it needs to be reported to our GLENWOOD office by an AVR and an attached police report. You can ask someone to help you make the police report or you can make a report online by yourself. We strongly advise you to file the police report. By documenting the reports, it may help us get the Portland Police to be more responsive to our community.
Please also don’t leave the entry doors or garages open, even for a quick run to recycling or garbage. It only takes a minute for a stranger to slip in.
Lost and Found
Another key has just been turned into our Lost and Found. We have an entire box of keys that includes car fobs, entry door keys and mailbox keys. If you have lost a key, please call Judy Evans at 772-359-4106 to have a look. We will also bring the box of keys to the entry table at the July Semi-Annual meeting.
Upcoming Date
Our Semi-Annual Meeting will take place in the Summerplace Ballroom on July 23. Please see the notice on your entryway bulletin board.
Happy Summer from Glenwood HOA Board and Website Team!
