Tree Root Removal
On Monday 9/21, roots from the removed tree in front of Building 7 will be treated to prevent future growth. A second treatment might be needed in the Spring. This will set the stage for repairing the lawn. Caution cones will be placed because pets should avoid specific areas for 24 hours. The treatment will take about 1 hour and will begin between 9 AM and 11 AM by Goode Arbor, plant health specialist and certified arborist.
Phase 1 Tree Trimming Has Been Postponed
Phase 1 tree trimming & pruning scheduled for 10/28 has been moved to 2027. This will accommodate remaining critical expenses in 2026.
Open Treasurer Position
In August we included in an email blast an invitation for someone to either volunteer to take the Treasurer role on the Board or to work with the Treasurer in learning the various functions of this role with the larger aim of that person eventually becoming Treasurer. In response, our fellow homeowner of 7 years, Clarissa McDearmon, has volunteered to begin learning the various Treasurer roles. Clarissa has previous experience with Quickbooks, loves numbers, has worked in the world of not-for-profits and of course is full of integrity. We appreciate her willingness to take on these important areas. The Board position is still open for anyone interested in becoming the Treasurer now.
